Zantedeskia (calla, calla lily) is a hybrid of Z. elliotiana and Z. rehmannii, the species native to Central and South Africa that grow in marshy conditions. Both species and numerous cultivars are widely used as ornamental plants due to colourful wine-cup-shaped flowers and dark green elongated leaves.

Calla is propagated via seeds, rhizomes or by in vitro micropropagation. The plants prefer sunny locations and moist, well drained soils. The best growth and intensive flowering is obtained when kept in temp. 18-24 oC (day) i 12-18oC (night).

We offer rooted in vitro cuttings of var. ODESSA, which possess dark purple flowers.
